The full refurbishing project for Can Burrut historical building implies emptying the whole construction maintaining the elevations, redoing the whole interior and increasing one floor. The new floor plan relocates the staircase and alters the floor levels in order to diminish impact. Accordingly the increased height is also recessed from the main elevation, maintaining the top balustrade as the singular element of the building. The rooftop is recovered as a privileged space for the top duplex.
